What you'll do

•Manages Global Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)/Internal Controls for Financial Reporting (ICFR) program.
•Facilitates the performance of the external and internal SOX audits.
•Identifies recommendations and works with process owners to implement process improvements to ensure compliance, drive sustainability and continuously improve the Company’s ICFR program.
•Communicates internal control impacts, issues, and strategic direction to team and to company stakeholders.
•Drives the execution of multiple work streams and projects related to internal controls and compliance reporting.
•Considers generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory compliance for SOX/ICFR.
•Understands and has a working knowledge of Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) and can communicate concepts clearly to process owners.
•Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
•Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field and 5 years experience in accounting, finance, or related field OR 8 years experience in accounting, finance, or related field.

Additional Qualifications

•2 years of experience conducting SOX/ICFR walkthroughs and testing of controls
•2 years of experience with financial management and internal control systems (for example, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP, Global Risk and Control (GRC)).
•3 years of experience performing accounting and auditing work in a national or international accounting firm.
•3 years project management experience.
•3 years of experience using basic functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
•Professional certification in finance (for example, CPA, CIA, CISA).
