What you'll do at

Walmart Online Grocery is looking for an extremely driven Business Manager to support the rapid growth the program is experiencing. The ideal candidate needs to be nimble with data, extremely customer focused, and comfortable interacting with the field operations. For the first six months of this role, expect to be deeply involved with each pillar on the Digital Experience team. During this time, you will develop an intimate understanding of each pillar’s purpose, and overall empathy for the customer. After that, you will support the team prioritize future projects, and ensure access to the data needed to run day to day operations, prioritize feature development, and steer the organizational strategy for the future.
• Serves as business lead working with cross functional teams (product/engineering, last mile, field operations, process, marketing/Analytics and more) to define and deliver results timely
• Ensure business and customer experience strategies are translated into product strategies/roadmaps/specifications and program design that deliver customer benefits, meet financial goals, and ensure that systems and processes are setup to scale for growth
• Strong customer focus on delivering high impact projects with good quality and within the expected timeframe
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in digital trends and competitor innovations and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of omnichannel customer experience
• Prioritizes complex workload effectively including business case development, program design, test framework/implementation, day to day management, performance review and improvement
• Regularly communicates clear timelines, status update and technical requirements to internal customers at all levels, including leadership
• Plans business activities with inputs from operations, process, technology and other key functions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or related field and 3 years experience in operations, project management, or related field OR 5 years experience in operations, project management, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience implementing projects or programs in relevant area.
  • Master s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Project Management certification.

    • Experience working in high-pressure, high-visibility role managing cross functional stakeholders
    • Retail and / or eCommerce experience

    • Not hesitant to get hands dirty and do whatever is necessary to ensure success
