What you'll do at

  • Provide technical leadership, influence, and direct complex, cross functional projects across divisions for your domain expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences on engineering subject matter
  • Analytic and data collection best practice Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, learn and contribute to peer team members.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction, data quality.
  • Be a role model for company policies, mission, values, and ethics and integrity
  • Collaborate with product and analytics partners to propose data element capture requirements for new product launches. Define impact, and success criteria.
  • Create, and maintain analytic tag technical specifications to capture customer data across various Walmart websites
  • Consult product and engineering teams on implementation of analytic specifications
  • Provide analytical support for Customer Experience, and Product Managers
  • Provide data driven insights and deliver recommendations that address opportunities for product improvement
  • Direct and create root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
  • Work in an agile manner, prepared for planning cycles, ruthlessly prioritize to ensure business needs are being met, adapt to unplanned work.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent, with 12 or more years in analysis, data engineering consulting, or product management
  • Prior experience working on analytics tagging (client/server side) or clickstream data.
  • Experience in eCommerce data collection
  • Manage expectations with multiple analytics and data partners
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people with a variety of skills, disciplines, experience, and personalities.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business, product and technical groups
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to autonomously multi-task in dynamic, fast paced, environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in SQL, JSON, JavaScript, Java
  • Ability to query Adobe Analytics, Splunk, Hive, Teradata
  • Deep understanding of Web Analytics, Tag Management
