As a member of the User Experience Design team, you’ll work side-by-side with smart and talented Product Managers, User Researchers and Engineers to craft unique, delightful and functional interactions that help our customer find the products they want quickly and easily.

The goal of our Site Optimization effort is to make Walmart.com a leader in eCommerce site performance. Speed is a crucial part of the transactional experience, and the candidate will be an integral member of the team that is investigating and implementing various ways to improve perceived performance through a combination of the latest technology and emerging design applications. Ideally, we seek applicants that have a background in both native app design and responsive design for web with a focus on best-in-class, performant customer experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years design experience OR Master’s Degree and 3 years design experience OR 6 years design experience.
• A portfolio of product design that demonstrates both strong Visual Design skills and robust User Experience thinking.
• Comfort designing for responsive web, iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience designing end-to-end flows and the ability to articulate how your designs solve customer needs.

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to design wireframes, prototypes and finished digital products using tools such as Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin.
• Deep understanding of design principals, industry trends and ADA compliance.
• Ability to clearly present your work; you must be an advocate for your choices and able to articulate clear design rationale.
• Readily give and receive constructive feedback.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years experience in eCommerce or related field.
