What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer professional in our Portland, OR office.

Duties: Participate in sprint planning to prioritize and estimate development work. Coordinate with other UI/UX designers for designs. Deliver bug free development work on time. Coordinate with Quality Analysts to validate/test development work. Architect mobile applications using SOLID & DRY principles. Coordinate high level design with other engineers on team for better scalability. Perform root cause analysis to identify production issues and provide solutions. Coordinate with QA to validate/test fix. Perform code review using GIT. Update work status on JIRA. Participate in medium-to large-scale projects. Engage in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to develop high level design. Troubleshoot business and production issues. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Software Engineering and apply this to the development, execution, and improvements of action plans. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions. Provide support to the business.


Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience with Object Oriented Programming. Experience with iOS Development using Objective-C, Swift, and Native Cocoa Touch frameworks. Experience architecting mobile applications using SOLID & DRY principles. Experience with Development tools including Xcode, GIT, and SourceTree. Experience with Debugging tools including Instruments, Xcode, and LLVM. Experience with project management tools including JIRA. Experience with Design Patterns including MVC, Delegation, KVO, Notifications, Singleton, Adapter, Director, MVVM, and Decoration. Experience with Test Driven Development using XCTest Framework, Expecta, and OCMock. Experience with RESTful web services. Experience with Agile Methodologies including Scrum, Grooming Sessions, Sprint Planning, Story Point Estimation, and Retrospective.
