The Developer Experience Tools group is made up of small agile teams delivering innovative tools and solutions for CI/CD and test automation. We love Open Source, and we design our tools to be open‐source from the first day. The added focus on reusable, portable solutions helps keep our architecture clean and flexible. And we love collaborating with people all over the world to make our tools better. Our team created TestArmada (http://testarmada.io/) , a fleet of tools for making testing fast, user‐friendly, and valuable at scale. We want you to help us build the next greatest developer productivity tool.

As a member of the Developer Experience Tools (DXT) team you will be expected to work with your peers and/or independently on the design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of solutions to address unique challenges in Developer productivity tools Engineering. This includes creating new tools and frameworks , collaborating and evangelizing open source tools. Come up with better solutions to make releasing to production faster without compromising on quality.

Position Description
• Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Automation Tools Team
• Engage in technical design and discussions and also help drive technical architecture.
• Drive our technical roadmap and direction of our stack.
• Ensures business needs are being met
• Ensures delivery success
• Ensures efficient delivery of quality product
• Improves, optimizes, and identifies opportunities for improved software development life cycle
• Manages the testing of a functional domain of the technology platform and builds solutions with directors and above to align with business strategy
• Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
• Supports continuous process improvement and innovation

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of experience running engineering teams of 5+ engineers, and coaching, mentoring individuals to grow in their career.
• Strong problem-solving skills both in the technology and leadership/influence areas.
• Thorough understanding of the agile software development processes with distributed development teams and proven experience in delivering complex projects on time with high quality
• Capable of handling ambiguous business requirements with excellent prioritization, time management abilities, and a focus on execution.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and leadership experience -- leading meetings, presenting, building high performing teams, and being a cross-functional leader.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 

• 3+ years of extensive experience in designing and building scalable tools and frameworks. 

• Hands-on experience with Express, HAPI or other similar webservices framework.
• Familiarity and experience with front-end Frameworks like React, Preact, Angular, Ember.js, etc.
• Experience with Test Automation tools like : Selenium, Appium, Nightwatch & Mocha 


• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 

• Experience with Dashboard Development / Data Visualization. 

• Experience with mocking tools. 

• Good understanding of continuous integration tools and frameworks like Travis CI, Jenkins, etc.

• Experience working in Agile environments across multiple geographies. 

• Strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging tools and technologies in the industry.
