What you'll do at

The TPM has day-to-day responsibility for managing 4-5 projects of moderate to high complexity to completion. These projects are usually of a high impact and high visibility nature and require strong stakeholder management skills. S/he will lead the activities of multiple cross-functional teams to complete projects in support of Global eCommerce’s business strategy and objectives. The Project Manager may lead programs when needed (group of projects within a business initiative).


• Ensures project manager development and continued successful performance
• Develops project management practices
• Manages geographically distributed teams and third-party vendors
• Manages multiple medium complexity or leads a large highly complex Global eCommerce projects
• Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities.
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Project Management and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related field and 10 years experience in full life cycle project or program management , 5+ years experience in technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of software development process with an appreciation for maintaining a high quality bar.
• Experience using multiple development approaches (Agile, Kanban ideal).
• Excellent written, verbal presentation and organizational skills, ability to interface with all levels within the organization.
• Comfortable presenting to and persuading at the Director and Vice President level.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and growing environment.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and of delivering results in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• eCommerce and retail experience strongly preferred.
• 5 years experience developing software with Agile methodology.
• 3 years of experience as engineering manager or architect
• Agile tools (JIRA, Rally etc)
• Ability to technically understand complex software architecture/solutions.
