What you'll do at

  • Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
  • Develops and executes technical software development strategy for ecommerce applications and systems using current business roadmap
  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
  • Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
  • Drives continuous process improvement and innovation
  • Ensures product quality
  • Executes engineering projects
  • Provides overall direction
  • Reduces customer impact (for example, sales loss) due to applications systems issues

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science and 7 years' experience in software engineering

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related Software Engineering field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working in a cloud computing environment (infrastructure, storage, platforms and/or data)

• Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar

Additional Qualifications
• Master's degree in Computer Science, related Engineering field, or equivalent work experience
• 8 years of experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions or developing applications in Supply Chain systems
• Solid understanding of github and open source development culture in general
• Understanding of current trends of technology infrastructure, (including databases, enterprise integration buses, protocols, APIs and formats), security, networking and cloud-based delivery models
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an approachable way for broad audiences, empowering them with memorable and useful information.
