In this role, you will be responsible for designing learning programs for new hire, continuing education, refresher, and upcoming L&D initiatives. This position will develop our blended learning classes and programs for eCommerce Fulfillment Centers. The person hired for this role must be able to manage the learning development process using the latest technology with a focus on innovative and digital methodology. Overall, the Instructional Designer is responsible for driving high quality L&D programs for our associates and leaders, playing a role in the development of a successful team.
Develops training programs, performance support tools, and resources by researching adult learner needs, learning environment, knowledge gaps, and behavioral changes; creates blended learning options; and ensures alignment with technology and business support infrastructure.
Measures training effectiveness by creating assessments to determine participant reaction and knowledge gained; implementing assessments; and collaborating with analysts to interpret results.
Manages learning content by auditing existing learning materials; reviewing and editing final drafts; adapting content to changing learner needs; validating content with subject matter experts; aligning content with business goals and initiatives; maintaining consistency through quality control measures; and providing project status updates to stakeholders.
Collaborates with Multimedia Producer and Communications Manager to develop, launch, communicate, and market L&D programs in line with the strategic plan.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supports and aligns efforts to meet customer and business needs; and builds commitment for perspectives and rationales.
