What you'll do at

Completes work assignments and priorities relating to food safety issues by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Provides support by scheduling meetings; maintaining outlook calendars; coordinating travel; and providing phone coverage. Provides technical support by submitting requests for technical equipment (for example smart phones) hardware, workstations, and software; requesting loaner equipment when necessary; following up on the status of personal computer requests; maintaining software request lists; developing presentation materials using appropriate software (for example, PowerPoint, Visio); troubleshooting basic software issues related to Microsoft applications (for example, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); coordinating service on telephones as needed; identifying equipment needs; reporting hardware needs; sets up security access (for example, passwords, secure badges) for Associates; entering information into appropriate software application (for example, Prism); following security protocols; and responding to Technical Coordinator questions regarding security access.

Supports food safety report requirements and data management by collecting data reporting requirements; developing reports and tools; conducting data analysis; and collaborating with third-party auditing companies and suppliers to gather information needed to build reports and scorecards. Processes reports, communications, recognition certificates, system issue tracking tickets by requesting, gathering, and compiling information from stores, clubs, distribution centers and suppliers; and communicating critical issue escalations to internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Public Health, or related field.

• 2 years experience in food safety or quality assurance, including auditing food establishments/facilities, or related field.

• 2 years experience working with advanced Excel functionality (for example, macros, functions).

• 1 year experience working with Retail Link.

• 1 year experience working with Remedy.
