What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale , CA office.

Duties: Collaborate with the Business team to identify new requirements. Analyze the requirements and determine the potential impact with the current system. Participate in migrating authentication to the new Identity management system. Engage in building new micro services and test automation. Execute performance improvement of micro services and implementation of a caching system. Remove stale cache entries. Participate in the estimation, design, development, and code review of modules in ATG based on Agile Sprints. Engage in integration testing and defect fixes. Participate in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle and Production troubleshooting, onsite and offshore communication, Requirement Analysis, Design Documents, Development, and QA Triages. Execute release, build, and deployment of new product for live customers. Work on projects executed using Agile Methodologies on Retail domain.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR a Master’s degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience with OS Platforms including Windows NT, Linux, and Centos. Demonstrated knowledge of Retail with regards to E-commerce. Experience with programming languages including Java 1.6/1.8. Experience with commerce platforms including Oracle ATG 10.2 and J2EE. Experience with Web Technologies including JSP, Servlets, Spring, RMI, JMS, AJAX, JSON, XML, SOA, REST, Apache Camel, JAX-RS, Apache CXF, Jacoco, and Memcached. Experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Spark and Kafka. Experience with Application/Web Servers including Tomcat 7.X/8, JBOSS 5.0, and TomEE. Experience with RDBMS including Oracle 10 G. Experience with NoSQL including Cassandra. Experience with Test Frameworks including Arquillian, TestNG, and JUnit. Experience with integrated development environments including Eclipse and IntelliJ. Experience with technical tools including SQL Developer, Maven, Apache Ant 2.0, JIRA, Git, OneOps, and JMeter.
