What you'll do at

The Online Grocery, Customer Experience team lives on the front line of e-commerce
innovation. Our view is that the future of e-commerce is all about fresh, and there is no one with
a better footprint in fresh than Walmart. We’re crushing it with grocery pickup & delivery. This
collaborative team, made up of Engineering, UX, Product management, along with web and
technology evangelists, is rapidly building and iterating over new products and site features at
scale. We deliver high performing solutions - from our next gen front-end platform (electrode),
next gen mobile developer platform (electrode-native) to our best-in-class node.js services
which powers our online grocery e-commerce backbone. Continuous innovation with a keen
focus on positively impacting the grocery shopping experience for millions of customers makes

• Manage software development engineers and lead end-to-end Engineering projects
• Mentor software engineers through their career growth
• Build an open, positive and energized culture.
• Engage and drive technical architecture, design and discussions.
• Drive our technical roadmap and direction of our stack.
• Ensure the happiness and productivity of the team’s software engineers
• Collaborate with Cross functional teams, Product, UX and Technical Support teams
• Utilize professional acumen to improve WalmartLabs technology, product, and Engineering

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly technical hands-on and an effective people leader.
• Organize and facilitate regular 1:1’s with your team for coaching and mentoring.
• 2+ years in driving and retaining a high performance team.
• 5+ years of experience building highly scalable, high performance, responsive web
applications.
• 2+ years of Experience with ReactJs/Redux, Node.js
• Proficient in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, JSON
• Experience interfacing with Web Services platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
• Familiarity with Automation Tools
• Strong customer focus and obsession with quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience/solid understanding in the following areas,
• Experience in Javascript fundamentals, React, Redux, Node.js.
• Knowledge on React Native
• Experience building, adopting and maintaining REST’ful api’s.
