What you'll do at

The Global Site and Home Page team, in collaboration with the retail organization (the merchants), develops integrated 360 marketing plans based on a deep understanding of customer mindset and shopping missions by time of year, holiday, and category.
We are looking for an energized, inspiring marketing leader who is adept at translating business priorities into a distinctly Walmart persona. The Associate Director of Global Site and Home Page Marketing will apply their creative and strategic thinking skills to business-led stories and events, and then apply their analytical skills to measure campaign performance and uncover insights that will help us continue to continue to better the customer experience. The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter who can effectively drive strategy development, execution and optimization.
Challenges you’ll be tackling
•You’ll lead a cross functional team of editorial, creative, retail and site merchandising partners to make breakthrough experiences for our customers
•You’ll develop test and learn initiatives that improve the experience for our customers on home page and global site
•You’ll gain senior leadership alignment on marketing strategy, cross-category and global site experience design, and end-to-end cross-channel storytelling to drive business performance
•You’ll bring an innate ability to inspire and align different cross functional team members on new ideas and experiences
•You’ll advocate for our customer, collaborating with tech, vendor-paid advertising and design to develop innovative, winning user experiences
•Lead development and communication of a calendar of uniquely Walmart moments
•Craft home page stories from ideation to experience design
•Help ensure home page mindset and tone are in sync with (and complementary to) brand and enterprise level priorities
•Oversee cross-category and cross-channel planning and briefing process to create wireframes, editorial documents and cross-category destinations that inspire basket building and shopping across the site
•Manage team in development and communication of home page performance dashboards in collaboration with Analytics
•Partner with Vendor-Sponsored Marketing team to develop integrated brand marketing plans
•Analyze in- and post-campaign results to optimize performance and identify learning for future campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

•7-10 years in eCommerce and/or acquisition marketing. MBA a plus
•3-5 years’ experience leading a team
•4+ years’ experience influencing and mobilize cross-functional teams
•Strong executive communication skills, with a high attention to detail
•Go-getter, capable of managing multiple projects & priorities
•Proven ability to present data and performance analysis in a format that helps inspire action and decision making at multiple levels of the organization
•Creative and collaborative team player who can work with multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups
