What you'll do...
Role summary:The Manager, North America Inbound, will help build and scale Walmart’s end to end cross border inbound capabilities. This role will drive initiatives spanning supplier onboarding, readiness, transportation, and delivery to U.S. destinations, partnering closely across Sourcing, Merchandising, Customs, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology. The ideal candidate is a strong operator and problem solver who uses data to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and improve processes. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast moving environment, brings structure to ambiguity, and can turn priorities into action.
About the team:
The North America Global Inbound team leads the advancement of cross-border supply chain operations at Walmart. Responsible for the complete journey from supplier onboarding to final delivery, the team collaborates with Sourcing, Merchandising, Transportation, Customs, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology partners. Their focus is on simplifying complex processes, enhancing visibility, and supporting growth across North America. As a developing team, they have the opportunity to establish scalable capabilities and shape the future of Walmart’s inbound network, driving efficiency and innovation throughout the supply chain.
What you'll do:
- Drive initiatives across the end to end inbound journey, from supplier onboarding through final U.S. delivery.
- Coordinate supplier readiness and launch activities across internal and external partners.
- Track KPIs, dashboards, milestones, risks, and action items to drive execution.
- Analyze operational data to identify root causes, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify manual processes and help develop simpler, more scalable ways of working.
- Partner across Sourcing, Merchandising, Transportation, Customs, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology to resolve issues and improve execution.
- Maintain clear ownership and follow through on cross functional actions and dependencies.
- Support the development of processes and capabilities needed to grow the North America supplier base.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in supply chain management with a strong focus on optimizing merchandise flow and network efficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to improve supply chain execution.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving escalated operational issues effectively.
- Leadership skills including hiring, training, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong process improvement capabilities, utilizing lean concepts and cost reduction strategies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to align stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and supporting organizational values in all business practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
