What you'll do...

Job Description

  • Oversees and manages productivity for an assigned area of responsibility by:
    • Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
    • Communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling.
    • Assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals.
    • Identifying associate, customer, and supplier concerns.
    • Determining corrective actions and making recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Manages associates and leaders within an assigned area of responsibility by:
    • Providing direction, monitoring performance, and delivering feedback.
    • Identifying training and development needs and creating opportunities for learning and growth.
    • Teaching, supporting, and modeling Manufacturing and company policies and procedures.
    • Participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, training, and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers.
  • Drives the business plan for an assigned area of responsibility to achieve facility goals related to production, quality, and safety by:
    • Implementing operational improvements.
    • Monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget.
    • Monitoring asset utilization.
    • Developing, distributing, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the Maintenance Department by:
    • Monitoring and driving department performance related to maintaining manufacturing equipment.
    • Ensuring associate compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, including OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Stormwater, and DOT requirements related to maintenance operations.
  • Coordinates with senior leaders to provide input into equipment and facility design initiatives.
  • Ensures the successful implementation of modified and new equipment within the facility.
  • Leads maintenance training programs as required.
  • Reviews maintenance budget estimates and ensures the efficient use of funds by eliminating unnecessary and repetitive purchases.
  • Collaborates with Maintenance associates to optimize capacity and service delivery.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Safety, Food Safety/Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance, to achieve operational objectives.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by:
    • Identifying customer and operational needs.
    • Developing and communicating business plans and priorities.
    • Removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance.
    • Providing resources and support.
    • Establishing performance standards and measuring progress.
    • Adjusting strategies and performance expectations as needed.
    • Developing contingency plans.
    • Demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by:
    • Recruiting, selecting, and training team members.
    • Mentoring associates and assigning responsibilities.

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $192,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

Minimum Qualifications...

Associate’s degree or technical school certification in an industrial-related field and 7 years’ supervisory experience in maintenance operations, including mentoring and developing people, managing workloads, hiring and promotion of employees, and leading a work or project team OR 9 years' Supervisory experience in maintenance operations, including mentoring and developing people, managing workloads, hiring and promotion of employees, and leading a work or project team.
Prior work experience as a maintenance manager or related role.
7 years’ industrial maintenance experience (for example, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and working with mechanical power transmissions, electrical power, machines controls, or in industrial, robotic, electronic maintenance, or related area).
