What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Master Plumber, Facility Services, leads the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems across facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This role involves diagnosing complex issues, designing solutions, and overseeing contractors while providing technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance teams. The position requires managing preventive maintenance schedules, responding promptly to emergencies, and maintaining detailed documentation. The Master Plumber supports operational excellence by coordinating resources, adhering to safety protocols, and driving continuous improvements to uphold facility functionality and safety standards.

The team strategically deploys licensed plumbing professionals to minimize external service needs across multiple locations. Members perform preventive maintenance and repairs using expertise in plumbing, carpentry, and equipment handling. They manage schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborating effectively, the team addresses facility requirements promptly, supports continuous improvements, and upholds company values through integrity and accountability. Their combined efforts maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained environments that enhance operational excellence and contribute significantly to the organization’s success.
What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment following established schedules and safety guidelines.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and specialized tools.
- Design and plan large-scale plumbing repairs or modifications ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codes.
- Lead and mentor plumbing and maintenance associates, providing technical guidance and training on best practices and safety protocols.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations supporting critical facility needs.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codes.
- Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Experience leading and mentoring Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, providing technical guidance and training.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA and EPA standards, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Skilled in managing work orders, maintenance schedules, contractor coordination, and documentation.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, pressure testing, and installing water, waste, and gas lines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to support team and business priorities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

• 5 years’ experience in the plumbing trade (Master-level experience preferred).• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
