Position Summary...
What you'll do...
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Marketing — Emerging to lead our Emerging customer product marketing for Walmart Connect's Performance, Brand, and Measurement solutions. In this role, you will serve as the strategic owner of customer insights for the Emerging segment, leveraging adoption data, UX research, learning agendas, customer feedback, and market intelligence to validate personas, optimize omni-channel solution-selling narratives, inform product strategy, and scale best practices through AI-powered and self-service customer experiences.
This role partners closely with our Solutions Product Marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure the Emerging customer priorities are reflected in roadmap planning, launch execution, and ongoing adoption management. The pioneer in this role will also help craft, scale and execute proven product marketing best practices in a way that drives efficiency, clarity and scalability.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the voice of the Emerging customer in roadmap planning and prioritization, translating their specific needs, market signals, and business impact into clear recommendations that support Walmart Connect growth priorities.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Product and Engineering leaders to ensure Emerging-specific customer opportunities are understood, sequenced, and incorporated into roadmap decisions in a way that is actionable for our Emerging stakeholders and aligned to broader business goals.
- Build a deep understanding of Walmart Connect’s Performance, Brand, and Measurement solutions and use that knowledge to educate local teams on product capabilities, use cases, and market-relevant applications.
- Customize go-to-market strategy, launch assets, messaging, and enablement so they fit the Emerging customer needs and objectives.
- Partner with our Emerging sales and cross-functional teams to define adoption strategies, targets, milestones, and activation approaches for priority products and features.
- Establish a clear operating cadence to track adoption, triage blockers, and accelerate product usage in market.
- Synthesize market intelligence, competitive insights, customer research, adoption analytics, and business performance data into actionable recommendations that influence product strategy, customer experience design, commercialization priorities, and go-to-market execution.
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative data—including adoption metrics, customer feedback, behavioral signals, UX journeys, campaign performance, and voice-of-customer insights—to identify growth opportunities, validate customer needs, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Develop and continuously refine customer personas, buying journeys, and solution adoption frameworks using market research, customer interviews, behavioral analytics, and performance data to ensure messaging and commercialization strategies reflect evolving customer needs.
- Support launches and ongoing feature adoption by ensuring local teams have the right narrative, tools, and readiness materials
- Create and maintain insight-driven customer playbooks, solution-selling frameworks, and adoption best practices informed by customer behavior, adoption analytics, market intelligence, and proven performance outcomes. Partner with Product and UX teams to embed these best practices into self-service workflows, AI-powered recommendations, and platform experiences that scale customer success.
- Work with regional and global partners to ensure local execution is aligned to broader product marketing strategy while still reflecting Emerging-specific needs.
- Elevate our product marketing capability by coaching and uplifting the team’s understanding of product capabilities, market translation, go-to-market execution, and adoption strategy, while crafting and scaling proven product best practices to be even more relevant and effective.
- Develop measurement frameworks and regularly evaluate adoption trends, customer engagement, solution utilization, and business outcomes, translating findings into strategic recommendations for product, sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, self-serve and SMB product marketing, go-to-market, or a closely related role.
- Strong ability to translate product capabilities into clear local value propositions, messaging, and enablement.
- Experience building customer persona-specific go-to-market plans, launch support, and adoption programs.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable customer insights, business recommendations, and product marketing strategies.
- Experience leveraging customer research, adoption analytics, journey mapping, experimentation, and voice-of-customer programs to inform persona development, messaging, and commercialization strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop insight-driven best practices, playbooks, and enablement frameworks that improve customer adoption and business performance.
- Strong analytical ability to assess adoption performance, identify blockers, and recommend actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coaching and developing local product marketing or marketing partners.
- Experience partnering with Product Marketing, Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions based on market needs.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working across full-funnel advertising solutions.
- Experience partnering with sales teams on adoption and enablement.
- Experience scaling product marketing best practices across markets.
- Experience working in commerce media, advertising technology, platform marketing, or a multi-product ecosystem.
