What you'll do...
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced electrical safety expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical design and installation safety compliance for a large retail design/construction operation. This includes developing and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures related to electrical designs and installations, as well as monitoring programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as OSHA, NFPA 70, and NFPA 70E. The ideal candidate will be an electrical engineer with practical electrical maintenance and installation experience. The candidate is also expected to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across various business units.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update policies, standards, and procedures related to electrical designs and installations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Facilities Maintenance, to ensure electrical designs and installations meet safety and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to electrical contractors and maintenance personnel on electrical safety best practices and NFPA 70E guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with changes to NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E and implement changes as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NFPA 70E (Arc flash/safety standard) required.
- Electrical engineer preferred.
- Engineers with practical experience as a master or journeyman electrician a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across various business units.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to various store locations as needed.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
