What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Digital Asset Technician, Skilled Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety and optimal operation of equipment and systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, executing repairs using technical skills, managing maintenance schedules, and documenting activities in compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires collaboration with various teams to support continuous improvement and uphold quality and safety standards. The technician contributes to maintaining efficient facility operations while supporting Walmart’s commitment to integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
About the team:
The team ensures the smooth operation of the Automated Picking and Delivery system by performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. Utilizing expertise in electrical diagnostics and repairs, members follow established schedules and safety protocols. They work closely with management and business partners to address maintenance needs, document activities, and enhance processes. Prioritizing quality, compliance, and timely responses, the team supports reliable automated systems that align with business goals. Through effective communication and coordination, they contribute to maintaining facility performance and operational efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance following established schedules to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Inspect, clean, and repair equipment or systems, documenting wear and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Manage work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory while adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Collaborate with teams and contractors to maintain quality standards and meet business needs.
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing maintenance data and implementing process enhancements.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance and equipment repair to ensure operational safety and reliability.
- Strong skills in electrical diagnostics and repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs for accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Experience managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and documentation in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
