What you'll do...

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) to accurately program wrappers and load the correct overwrap onto machines.
• Set up, operate, and adjust Galaxy overwrap machines according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Monitor product quality, ensuring all items meet required standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machine operations, including noting malfunctions or changes.
• Report equipment or process issues promptly to supervisors or management.
• Monitor machinery to identify optimal times for loading replacement film rolls, minimizing downtime.
• Troubleshoot and correct programming issues with overwrap equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent and resolve malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Ensure equipment maintains proper temperature settings for effective tray sealing.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, safe machine operation, and prompt reporting of hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents.
• Participate actively in safety training and drills.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents and support continuous safety improvements.
• Stay aware of surroundings to ensure personal and team safety.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; and adapting to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
