What you'll do...

Position: Staff Product Manager

Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089

Duties: Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices. Research and verify customer needs and expectations. Delivers customer value within the parameters of profitability and other targets. Builds and maintains consistent customer connections and solicits customer feedback. Creates customer journeys and identifies customer touchpoints. Addresses gaps/risks in product experiences. Simplifies and improves processes to drive customer satisfaction. Own a simple customer problem and /or product requirements/needs. Assists in building new ideas/products. Explores new focus areas/unchartered areas for value creation leveraging first principles and develops a long-term vision. Articulates problem statements and hypotheses. Guides team members towards prototypes. Effectively communicates product strategy and vision and the unit economics of a product. Understand the need for "Go-to-Market" strategies and levers for user adoption. Build and own a simple product roadmap with proper phasing. Communicates with cross-functional partners and stakeholders. Explores alternative avenues to identify resources while navigating through organizational constraints and dependencies. Builds stakeholder alignment. Independently (or with minimal guidance) manages backlog/priority tradeoff decisions and communications. Manages product/feature rollouts and scaling (using an MVP approach) and iteratively optimizes the product. Support data analytics for a product/feature. Supports data collection and evaluation within assigned areas (for example, acquisition cost, conversion rate, adoption, active users, feature usage, user churn, net promoter score, satisfaction, lifetime value). Communicate in one-to-one/stakeholder meetings involving one-two teams. Proactively builds professional network. Articulates results/recommendations. Actively listens to others and acknowledges different technical perspectives and connects to the product/technology in development. This position does not supervise other employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Analytics, or related field and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management; OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Analytics, or related field and 2 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management.

Skills required: Experience with data analysis using Google BigQuery and writing BigQuery statements to query data from different data assets. Experience creating real-time data reports in reporting tools including PowerBI, Looker, Supersets, and Tableau. Experience with roadmap creation and aligning product goals to company strategic goals, defining Objectives Key Results (OKRs) for product features, and measuring them using telemetry dashboard. Experience with requirement gathering and cross functional collaboration. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with various Technical Architecture Design elements including REST APIs, Data Pipelines, Servers, Database, Event driven architecture, File sharing methodologies, Microservices, and ETL (Extract Transform Load). Experience with various Technical Events during software development life cycle including Pre-production, Production, and Hypercare support.  Experience reading and understanding query written in Python. Experience with the financial domain. Experience with Agile methodology including Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, creating Epics and user stories, story pointing and managing deliverables timelines, and Release Management. Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for managing product roadmaps, documenting requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and tracking progress. Experience with SQL for collecting and analyzing data assets to make informed product decisions. Experience creating presentations for business cases, product strategies, and product updates for key stakeholders and leadership. Experience defining product strategy using various product methodologies including Minimum Viable Product (MVP), Design Thinking, Jobs to Be Done (JTBD), and Double Diamond. Experience writing PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), Product Charters, User Journeys, Product Status Reports, Product Release notes, and Product Newsletters. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $179,421/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
