About the Role Walmart is on a mission to help our customers live better by saving them time and money—every day. As Senior Director of Product Management for Discovery and Search Experiences, you will lead a team of exceptional product managers focused on building engaging and delightful experiences for our customers. You’ll define and execute the vision for how Walmart reimagines the shopping experience using the latest technology, building rich and immersive experiences enabled by AI. This role requires a blend of deep customer empathy, technical fluency in AI/ML-driven products, and strategic leadership. You will be responsible for defining end-to-end experiences and optimizing for success across multiple interactions customers have with Walmart while discovering breadth of our assortment or making decisions on what products fit their needs the best. What You’ll Do- Define and drive the strategy for AI-enabled discovery and decision experiences across Homepage, Shopping Pages, Search, and Item.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of product leaders, partnering closely with design, engineering, and data science.
- Bring together Search and Discovery experiences into cohesive, mission-aware customer journeys.
- Partner with AI/ML teams to deliver intelligent recommendations, personalized planning, and predictive replenishment experiences.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from vision and execution to measurement and iteration—across digital and in-store touchpoints.
- Establish a unified set of priorities and success metrics, shifting focus to end-to-end customer and business impact.
- Collaborate with the Sparky team to deliver intuitive, contextual integrations that assist customers throughout their discovery and decision journeys.
- 15+ years of experience in Product Management, with 5+ years leading teams at the Director level or above.
- Proven record of building and scaling customer-facing products that address real-life needs, ideally in retail, grocery, or e-commerce.
- Strong background in AI/ML products, with an ability to translate technical models into delightful, intuitive customer experiences.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, balancing customer experience innovation with operational scalability and business impact.
- Ability to lead cross-functional execution across engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of aligning executive leadership and inspiring teams around a shared mission.
- Experience in omni-channel retail or retail technology ecosystems.
- Background in personalization, recommendation systems, or seach
- Deep empathy for diverse customers and a passion for improving everyday life at scale.

The annual salary range for this position is $208,000.00 - $416,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
