Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Manages press settings and proficiently utilizes dies. Counts and precisely positions products into the press for consistent compression. Conducts visual examinations of pressed primals to verify correct compression. Adheres to established protocols and responds accordingly if product does not meet specifications. Performs quality checks on products, ensuring they meet the company’s standards and specifications. Discards any faulty items and reports serious malfunctions to supervisors. Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to enhance quality and throughput. Operates and cleans equipment to optimize throughput and minimize downtime, promptly communicating any mechanical or operational issues. Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors all products to ensure compliance with quality standards and efficiency targets. Successfully accomplishes work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing policies and available resources. Collaborates effectively with managers, co-workers, and business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Carries out assigned tasks, communicating progress and relevant information. Actively identifies and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities. Demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn from change, difficulties, and feedback. Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines. Uses personal protective equipment. Operates machinery and equipment safely. Reports any hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately. Actively participates in safety trainings and drills. Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents. Contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols. Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and the safety of others. The hourly wage range for this position is $22.30 - $24.30* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
