What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Coach/Ops Manager Trainee plays a pivotal role in leading and developing store teams by providing training, feedback, and clear guidance aligned with company objectives. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and financial performance management through effective merchandising, inventory control, and process improvements. The role requires collaboration across all levels, fostering accountability, and driving continuous learning and adaptability. The trainee supports talent development, ensures compliance with policies, and champions integrity and ethical standards while contributing to a positive experience for customers, associates, and the broader community.
About the team:
The Overnight Stocking Coach leads a committed overnight team focused on efficient product stocking and timely shelf replenishment. This team collaborates to maintain high standards of store presentation and operational excellence. By providing clear guidance, training, and constructive feedback, the team supports continuous learning and adherence to company policies. Emphasizing effective communication and process improvement, they contribute to achieving business goals and delivering a positive shopping experience. Together, the team fosters a productive environment that ensures operational success during overnight hours.
What you'll do:
- Lead and develop teams by providing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to enhance store operations and associate performance.
- Communicate business objectives clearly and collaborate with associates at all levels to implement company initiatives and operational changes.
- Model and uphold exceptional customer service standards, resolving customer concerns and supporting community outreach programs.
- Manage financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, controlling expenses, and driving sales and merchandising effectiveness.
- Hire, mentor, and develop associates, setting clear expectations and fostering accountability to achieve business goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, promote ethical standards, and support a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Experience managing store operations, including merchandising, inventory flow, and seasonal transitions.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’ssupervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific
Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying may require a
current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
