Position: Senior Manager II, Product Management

Number of Positions Available: Two (2)

Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089

Duties: Lead product strategy, vision, roadmap, and requirement specifications while working with engineering and user experience stakeholders. Partner closely with cross-functional business, merchant, finance, analytics, and legal teams to take supply chain products to the next level. Drive product discovery, research competitive landscape, and write technical specs for large, complex software engineering projects. Own end-to-end product development of last mile delivery features in the mobile apps and website. Own all feature development for shipping and delivery across both iOS and Android apps and optimize functionality to drive adoption. Build globally usable, scalable software platforms that are multi-tenant, de-coupled through APIs and support international localization. Work closely with leaders to execute against technical vision and software architecture of overall product. Use data to provides recommendations to engineering and executive teams on innovation and new product opportunities for shipping and delivery. Measure and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, on-time deliveries, wait time, labor utilization, and capacity utilization. Create and protect Intellectual Property (IP) by filing patents for inventions in systems, processes, and products. Supervise three (3) employees (2 Staff Product Manager(s), 1 Manager II, Product Management).

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 9 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management; OR Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 7 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management.

Skills required: Experience identifying strategy and goals for eCommerce software products using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, market opportunities, and business cases. Experience analyzing and defining product requirements in Confluence. Experience with user stories with prioritized features in Atlassian Jira and ensuring the delivery of software features on time. Experience defining product roadmaps, aligning business and technical needs, analyzing customer and product data, turning customer insights into actionable initiatives, determining rollout strategy, and managing risks. Experience defining A/B tests, measuring success, suggesting improvements, iterating on products and features, and telling compelling stories with Data and UX teams. Experience monitoring and reporting software application performance using Qualtrics. Experience communicating software product plans and progress to leadership teams. Experience driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Experience working with product development, analytics, and content teams to ensure proper measurement instrumentation, monitoring and reporting, product success post launch, and implementing monitoring solutions. Experience working on projects leveraging the Agile software development methodology. Experience leading other product managers to deliver against the defined strategy and goals. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $179,421/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
