What you'll do...
Position: Staff Product Manager
Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089
Duties: Lead the development and execution of CRM strategies, including personalized emails, push notifications, and in-app messages for Walmart customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the marketing technology organization and across Walmart to efficiently execute business critical initiatives, including but not limited to customer funnel, lifestyle, inspirational content, acquisition, preferences, propensities, multi-channel interactions, attribution, and channel orchestration. Influence product decisions for Walmart’s owned-and-operated and offsite efforts, impacting millions of customers. Develop and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for CRM products and personalization models aligned with corporate goals. Conduct research, analyze feedback, and evaluate competitive landscapes to identify new product opportunities and enhancements. Drive the product discovery process for complex and ambiguous projects by collaborating with business, UX, and Engineering teams to assess value, usability, and feasibility. Specify, prioritize, and communicate both high-level and detailed product requirements to ensure successful development. Support product implementation by working closely with Engineering and Project Management, making scope trade-off decisions, and coordinating product launches. Oversee post-launch activities, validate product functionality, and continuously improve key product metrics. Contribute to resource planning and drive process improvements across multiple teams to ensure program success. Align stakeholders, including senior leaders, to manage competing priorities and ensure cohesive product development. Exercise technical judgment to maintain realistic and attainable goals for programs, projects, and products within timelines. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems Management, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management or a related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems Management, or related area and 7 years of experience in product management or a related field.
Skills Required: Must have experience with: Writing detailed requirements with technical specifications, driving roadmap, and managing multiple stakeholders; Performing extensive technical research, competitor research, customer research and market analysis for developing solutions; Defining metrics and KPIs for enhancing product performance; E-commerce product management; Machine learning for customer classification/categorization and recommendations; Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and building data analysis and product performance reports; Software, API, and database architecture analysis for product platforms - web and mobile application; Developing Go-to-market strategies for product rollout/launch to enhance product adoption; Creating product testing plans and performing product testing to monitoring product functionalities and performance; Developing project proposals and building business cases for performance projections and efficient product execution; and Web and mobile applications/services and agile development methodology. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $179,421/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
