What you'll do...
Position: Staff Product Manager
Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089
Duties: Develop a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a specific product within a product area. Drive the product lifecycle from requirement definition, research, metrics analysis, specification creation, product development, product testing, training, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definition. Drive the product discovery process by collaborating with the Business, User Experience, and Engineering Teams. Assess the business value, usability, and feasibility of product features. Specify, prioritize, and communicate high level and detailed product specifications. Perform User Research to understand user needs and incorporate them into product roadmaps. Support product implementations and deployments by engaging with Engineering and Project Management teams during implementations. Define product requirements, drive adoption, lead user acceptance testing, and address business and system issues. Drive the prioritization of features and ensure they are aligned with business goals. Work with business and other operational stakeholders on scope decisions, change management for product rollouts, and user acceptance testing. Train and support users on new product features. Execute competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities, improvements, and enhancements. Work with multiple functions to build and evaluate business cases. Build collaborative relationships with key partners. Define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and KPIs in line with business objectives and monitor progress. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 7 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management; OR Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience working within the retail domain with a focus on merchandising, supply chain, and eCommerce. Experience grooming and prioritizing a product backlog using Scrum and Kanban methodologies and capturing the outputs through Jira and Confluence. Experience conducting research and executing competitive analysis to identify new features and improvement opportunities. Experience defining Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and leveraging them to measure progress against goals, align to priorities, and track KPIs using reporting tools including Tableau, Microsoft BI, and R Studio. Experience collaborating with complex, cross functional teams which include engineers, data scientists, designers, and business stakeholders. Experience conducting User Research Interviews to assess the alignment of user needs to strategic priorities. Experience collaborating with UX designers using Figma and Invision. Experience using Visio to execute Process Mapping to assess the as-is state and define the to-be process. Experience conducting usability tests through surveys and A/B tests. Experience querying large amounts of data using SQL and leveraging that data to evaluate the hypothesis testing results. Experience implementing large scale data science solutions. Experience with optimization and machine learning techniques. Experience working on enterprise products to deliver scalable solutions that meet complex business requirements. Experience defining and actualizing a strategy for a moderately complex product. Experience articulating return on investment (ROI) analysis for solutions to complex problems. Experience identifying root cause(s) that directly impact KPIs and NPS and prioritizing product backlogs accordingly. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $179,421/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
