Director of Supplier Programming & EducationThis role is based in Bentonville, AR. Role summary: What you'll do... As the Director of Supplier Programming & Education, you will lead the design, delivery, and scaling of onboarding and education programs that empower all U.S. suppliers to succeed with Walmart. This role is pivotal in advancing Walmart U.S. Merchandising’s customer value proposition, delivering a growing assortment that continues to meet customers.
About the team: You will work at the intersection of supplier development, merchant strategy, and enterprise growth to support Walmart’s suppliers. As part of the U.S. Supplier Growth & Development team within Supplier Excellence in Merchandising Excellence, you’ll advance discovery, onboarding, and growth for all U.S. suppliers, including small businesses, while also supporting the U.S. Manufacturing Commitment. You will specifically enhance the supplier experience through learning pathways, onboarding tools, and mentorship frameworks that accelerate readiness, speed to setup, and growth across the supplier lifecycle. This work strengthens supplier capability, fosters innovation, and delivers measurable impact for merchants, suppliers, and the communities they serve.
What you'll do:
- Lead U.S. Supplier Academy 2.0 roadmap: refresh content, scale engagement, and drive data-driven learning evolution.
- Build and manage a high-performing team for supplier education, onboarding, and mentorship programs across all lifecycle stages.
- Implement LMS strategies and analytics to optimize engagement and performance.
- Apply user-centered design to create intuitive, impactful learning experiences.
- Scale digital onboarding tools to reduce time-to-PO and support enablement.
- Drive process improvements, dashboards, and reporting to track engagement, ROI, and program impact.
- Partner across Supplier Excellence, Global Procurement, and cross-functional teams to align education programs with enterprise priorities and streamline workflows.

- You have 7+ years of experience in supplier development, merchandising, or learning program management.
- You’ve led program design and scaling in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- You have proven experience in building and leading teams that deliver measurable impact.
- You’re fluent in digital learning platforms, LMS administration, engagement analytics, and ROI measurement.
- You thrive in data-driven decision-making and can translate insights into actionable strategies.
- You’re a strong collaborator who can influence and support teams.
- You embrace design thinking and prioritize user experience.
- Experience with enterprise learning systems and supplier enablement programs.
- Familiarity with Supplier One, Supplier Academy, Airtable, and LMS platforms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
