What you'll do...
Position: Senior Software Engineer, Associate Technology
Job Location: 1 Customer Dr, Mail Stop# 0215, Bentonville, AR, 72716
Duties: Build and develop n-tier application using Microservices, Java/J2EE, Spring Reactive. Lead multiple medium to large scale projects, by collection technical requirements and formulate an industry accepted solution for the same. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical stories for team to work on deliverables. Work on day-to-day basis on multiple java and python services to achieve business goals for data migration and new rest microservices. Deploy code using automated CI/CD and integration with Kubernetes. Navigate complex legacy systems and translate them to highly scalable and production ready micro-services. Handle large data sets. Working with multiple Google Cloud Platform technologies, especially BigQuery, GCS and DataProc and PostgreSQL. Work on multiple workflow services for workflow Management using airflow.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 1 year of experience in software engineering or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Designing and implementing REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux; Developing and implementing automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline using tools such as Looper (Jenkins) and Concord to deploy changes onto Azure App Service and Azure Kubernetes Service; Developing and deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service, using docker containers to build images and configuring using KeyVault, AKeyless and Appconfig; Performing analytics activities using Apache Spark2.x and Spark3.x (Data Frames and Spark SQL) and ETL operations on Azure Databricks using Scala Spark; Publishing information to Azure event hubs, Azure Service Bus and building Azure function triggers to consume and process events; Building and maintaining Azure Stored Procedure to read and process change feed on Azure Cosmos DB; Implementing multiple Jenkins and docker yml scripts to complete multiple automation; and Logging and application monitoring stacks: Azure application insights and Grafana. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Rate of pay: $90,000 - 180,000/year
