Walmart buyers attend merchandise shows, research and explore markets and shop the competition to find out what customers want and need from their local Walmart stores, while always keeping in mind our philosophy of delivering everyday low prices. You’ll also partner with suppliers, drawing on your own negotiation skills while learning about the ever-changing retail market. Whether you’re a Buyer of Electronics, Modular Specialist or Merchandise Planner, our division’s expertise translates directly to how our customers are able to save money and live better.
Keeping things moving is a form of art in our business, and to do so, our Replenishment group interacts with nearly every department in the operations chain. Here, you’ll work with buyers, suppliers, logistics and store operations to develop forecasts and cost analysis, find new channels and sustainable ways to meet changing business and customer needs, and improve the way the world lives. If you have experience in supply chain management or industrial engineering and want to advance your skills in demand planning, inventory management and supply planning, a position in our Replenishment department is the challenge you’re seeking.
